Email Composition and Sending

Send email blasts to all verified subscribers using the Email Compose Modal.

Opening the Compose Modal

From the mailing list detail page, click "Send Email Blast" to open the email composition modal.

Variable Interpolation

Personalize your emails using variables that are automatically replaced with subscriber data:

• {{name}} - The subscriber's name (if collected)
• {{metadata.fieldName}} - Any custom metadata field you've collected (replace "fieldName" with your actual field key)

Example: "Hi {{name}}, thanks for subscribing!" will become "Hi John, thanks for subscribing!" for a subscriber named John.

Markdown Support

The email body supports Markdown syntax, allowing you to format your emails with:

• Bold text using **text**
• Italic text using *text*
• Links, lists, headers, and more

Use the Preview tab to see how your formatted email will appear.

Sending Emails

Before sending, make sure you've:

1. Selected a verified SES identity (From field)
2. Entered a subject line
3. Written your email body
4. Reviewed the preview

Click "Send" to deliver the email to all verified subscribers. You'll see a confirmation with the number of successful sends.
